The National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts is supporting Councillors Against the Cuts, a new initiative by a group of councillors who have vowed to vote against all cuts. We were formed to demand the student movement fight seriously against cuts and attacks on education and public services, using every means available. CAC is taking a similar stand among councillors and in the labour movement. We hope that in time groups form within other parties – including the Greens.
