NCAFC has produced a leaflet detailing things that school/FE students can do on the day of June 30 to support the strikes. Print off a ton and pass them out in you school, college or 6th form!

From the leaflet:
Some things you can do…
(mainly for school and college students – but uni students can support the strikes too)
1. Set up meetings in your school, college or uni to plan for 30 June. Action on the day will be more effective if you’ve organised in advance.
2. Find the teachers who are ‘union reps’ and talk to them. See if you can organise a joint meeting between students and teachers to discuss working together.
3. Give out a leaflet, explaining why students should support our teachers and what we can do. At www.anticuts.com there is a leaflet you can adapt.
4. Organise an action (like a march around the school or a demo at the front) before 30 June to show your support and call for the school/college to be called on the day. There are posters at www.anticuts.com
5. Striking workers don’t get paid when they’re striking – you could raise money for the strike fund, for example by putting on a gig.
6. On 30 June, if your teacher is striking, go to the picket line. If not, go to class, stand up and make an announcement. Try to take the largest possible group of people out with you. On the picket line, try to persuade other students not to go in. Go with teachers to demonstrations and meetings that will be happening during the day. Uni students should organise delegations to the protests.
7. Keep organising after 30 June. We won’t beat the Tories with just one day of action – we should organise for more strikes and protests soon.
